Scenario Studio
Stress-test a decision before you make it.
Adjust hiring plans, payment terms, pricing changes, or a new loan draw against your live forecast and see the effect on cash and runway instantly, side by side with the baseline.
variables you can flex in a single scenario, from DSO to headcount
The question finance teams actually get asked isn't 'what's our cash balance.' It's 'can we afford to hire two engineers in October' or 'what happens if our biggest customer pays 20 days later starting next quarter.' Those questions need a model, not a snapshot.
Scenario Studio takes the same forecast engine behind Cash Flow Copilot and lets you fork it. Move a slider — new hires, a rent increase, a customer payment delay, a credit line draw — and watch the cash curve redraw against the baseline in real time, on your actual numbers.
Scenarios are saved, named, and shareable, so 'the plan we showed the board in March' stays exactly as it was, even as the live forecast keeps moving underneath it.
Fork the live forecast
Every scenario starts as an exact copy of today's forecast, not a template — so the baseline you're comparing against is always current.
Flex the variables that matter
Headcount and start dates, DSO/DPO shifts, one-time and recurring costs, pricing or churn changes, and debt draws or repayments — combine any of them in one scenario.
See the compounding effect
Because it runs through the same engine as the live forecast, a hiring scenario correctly compounds with payroll tax timing and your existing DSO assumptions instead of treating each input in isolation.
Compare, save, share
Overlay up to four scenarios against the baseline on one chart, save the ones worth keeping, and export a board-ready summary of each.

13-week cash forecast
Scenario Studio
Every slider recomputes the full 13-week forecast against Solen Studio’s sample ledger, the same engine behind Cash Flow Copilot. Nothing here touches real data — this workspace is a fixed sample dataset.
Hiring plans
Model exact start dates, gross salary, employer social charges (using French and EU cost-of-employment defaults you can edit), and ramp time before productivity.
Payment term changes
See the cash impact of moving a customer segment from Net 30 to Net 45, or renegotiating a vendor from Net 15 to Net 60, isolated from every other variable.
Debt and credit lines
Model a draw, its repayment schedule, and interest, and see the effect on both cash and your covenant headroom in the same view.
Break-even and runway markers
Every scenario surfaces the date cash crosses zero (if it does) and the resulting runway in months, recalculated live as you adjust inputs.
One-click board export
Turn any saved scenario into a two-page PDF summary with the chart, key assumptions, and the runway delta versus baseline.
Does a scenario affect my live forecast?
No. A scenario is an isolated fork. Nothing you model in Scenario Studio changes Cash Flow Copilot's live numbers unless you explicitly promote an assumption into your baseline settings.
Can I model a scenario that spans multiple entities?
Yes, for customers on the Scale or Enterprise plan. Group-level scenarios net intercompany flows the same way the live consolidated forecast does.
How is the employer cost of a new hire calculated?
We use published French URSSAF employer contribution bands as the default (editable per role and per country for teams hiring outside France), applied to the gross salary and start date you enter.
